NDIS support that fits your plan and your language

Support coordination, daily living, community participation, nursing and therapy from a Registered NDIS Provider, for NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants.

I love NDIS – Registered NDIS Provider

NDIS support with Avida Care

Avida Care is a Registered NDIS Provider, audited against the NDIS Practice Standards by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. That means we can work with participants whose plans are NDIA-managed as well as plan-managed and self-managed.

We support adults with physical, intellectual and psychosocial disability, and we are particularly experienced with participants and families who prefer to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese. Every support we deliver is tied to a goal in your plan, documented, and reported to you and your support coordinator.

Our own team covers daily living, nursing, allied health and coordination. For supports we do not deliver ourselves, our network of more than 80 partner providers means your coordinator can arrange them quickly.

Am I eligible, and what will the NDIS fund?

  • You must be under 65 when you apply, live in Australia, and be a citizen, permanent resident or protected Special Category Visa holder.
  • You need a permanent and significant disability that affects daily life, or meet the early intervention rules.
  • If you are over 65, aged care through My Aged Care is the right door. We can help with both.
  • The NDIS funds supports that are "reasonable and necessary": related to your disability, linked to your goals, value for money and not something another system should provide.
  • There is no set amount. Your plan funds the supports you need, and you can ask for an internal review if you disagree with a decision.
  • If you have an NDIS plan already, we can start as soon as a service agreement is signed.

Common questions

Do you accept NDIA-managed plans?

Yes. As a Registered NDIS Provider we can claim directly from the NDIA. We also work with plan-managed and self-managed participants.

Which parts of my plan can you help with?

Core Supports for daily living, community participation and transport, Capacity Building for support coordination, recovery coaching, therapy and skill development, and Capital Supports for assistive technology through our occupational therapists.

Can I choose or change my support worker?

Yes. We match on language, skills and personality, you meet the worker before the first shift, and you can ask for a change at any time without having to explain.

Do you charge above the NDIS price limits?

No. Our rates are at or below the NDIS Pricing Arrangements, and travel and cancellation terms are written into your service agreement up front.
